Peninsula, located about a 45-minute drive south from downtown Cleveland, is one of my favorite Northeast Ohio communities. The village is located at the center of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and residents and visitors both enjoy the scenic town with its downtown historic district.

E J Thomas Hall - Akron Ohio
E.J. Thomas Hall is located on the campus of The University of Akron. This performance hall is the largest of three in Akron, and home of the Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Tuesday Musical Club and the Children's Concert Society. Quaker Square - Akron Ohio
Originally 36 storage silos belonging to the Quaker Oats Company, Akron's Quaker Square is a wonderful example of an industrial restoration. Among these 47 paintings and 13 sculptures are works by Monet, Rodin, Cezanne, and van Gogh. The exhibition will travel to Bejing, Seoul, Tokyo, and five North American venues before returning being shown in Cleveland from October 21, 2007 to January 6, 2008.

Barcelona! at the Cleveland Museum of Art from October, 2006 to January, 2007 explored the art of Barcelona during the period from 1868 to 1939 when that city transformed itself into one of the most dynamic centers of art and architecture in Europe. Included in the exhibit were more than 300 examples of visual and decorative arts by artists such as Gaudi, Picasso, and Miro.
