Pac-12 Power Rankings: Week 4
Pac-12 Power Rankings. College Football.

Big 12 Power Rankings
Big 12 Power Rankings after Week 4

Survival of the Fittest: Big Ten Overview (Part 1)
We can at least take a look at each team and see who’s at the top of the food chain, in the middle of the pack, or at the bottom in the Big Ten.

9. Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA
Paul Perkins still isn’t in the national lexicon yet, but he is playing like a Heisman contender.

8. Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Cook’s Heisman status will be determined against Ohio State later this year.

7. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
They seem to struggle managing their QBs and running the ball consistently, but RB Ezekiel Elliott is still the lead dog for the Buckeyes offense.

6. Seth Russell, QB, Baylor
Seth Russell and Baylor have continued their offensive explosion dropping 70 points against Rice and his numbers are huge.

5. Jared Goff, QB, Cal
Jared Goff has lit up the field week in and week out for Cal not only to help them win but also to help his own NFL Draft stock.

4. Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
Against Vanderbilt, Chad Kelly had the first game where he struggled, but Ole Miss continued their win streak. Their win over Alabama will keep Chad Kelly in the national spotlight and keep them as playoff contenders.

3. Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU
Senior Trevone Boykin compiled 485 yards passing with 4 touchdowns with a few splash plays to boot.

2. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
Chubb has been running consistently through the season with every game over 120 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns in 3 of Georgia’s 4 games so far.

10. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
The rarity of a defender winning the Heisman combined with Texas A&M still not considered a top team in the SEC has left Garrett off of the Heisman odds in Vegas.

1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Fournette continued his dominance this week by racking up 244 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns against Syracuse.

Big 12 Power Rankings

Pac-12: Week 3 Power Rankings
Pac-12 Power Rankings after Week 3 puts UCLA on top of the conference.

4. LSU
Leonard Fournette is a one man wrecking ball, but the Tigers will need to prove themselves as a well-rounded team going forward

8. Auburn
War Eagle looks wounded. Louisville is 0-3, a team that Auburn might have succumbed to, if not for some brain farts from Cardinal head coach Bobby Petrino

1.  Georgia
Georgia is the model of consistency.

13. Arkansas
Days after ripping into No. 1 Ohio State’s easy schedule, Bielema’s razorbacks lost to Toledo

11. Kentucky
Kentucky lost to a not-very-good Florida team. Maybe they aren't the second-best team in the SEC East.

14. Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt has show ineptitude for winning. Derrick Mason has a lot of work to do

2. Texas A&M
Possibly the most talented team in the nation, with a defense that is coming around more and more every week

5. Alabama
After falling to No. 12 in the AP Poll after losing to Ole Miss, the Tide had a “Reset Day” before getting back to work

6. Mississippi State
Mississippi State bounced back from a close 21-19 loss against LSU last week by routing Northwestern State 62-13 Saturday

7. Tennessee
There are still a lot of questions as to how good the Volunteers can be after fading down the stretch to Oklahoma a few weeks ago

9. Missouri
How is this team still ranked? We're probably underrating the Tigers a little bit

10. Florida
The Gators struggled against East Carolina and Kentucky, but there’s something to be said for winning, especially considering the questions Florida had coming into the season

3. Ole Miss
This week Ole Miss did it again. It beat top-seeded Alabama.

12. South Carolina
There is no hope for South Carolina. The team already has two SEC losses with other, tougher SEC opponents still left to play in the season

SEC Week 4 Game Picks
SEC Picks and Predictions for Week 4

Auburn Benches Once Hyped QB
Through three games, Jeremy Johnson has completed just 59.7 percent of his passes for 473 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions. At halftime Coach Gus Malzahn said a QB change was a possibility.

2015 SEC Week 4 Heisman Watch
2015 SEC Heisman Watch. College Football.

Paul Perkins, RB,  UCLA
Averaging about 7.5 yards a carry, Perkins ran for 219 yards against ranked BYU and notched one touchdown

2. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
Nick Chubb is the other SEC RB making splashes with his play and Georgia’s success 2 games into conference play

1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Leonard Fournette put on a show against Auburn putting up 228 yards on only 19 carries and notching his 2nd straight 3 touchdown game

9. Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Cook followed up his 266 yard performance against USF with a clunker on the road against Boston College notching only 54 yards on 15 carries

4.  Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
Dominating Alabama on the road will put any team on the national radar and introduce their key players to the whole country

6.  Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
Mayfield helped Oklahoma pull off the comeback against Tennessee two weeks ago but he was a human highlight reel against Tulsa throwing for 487 yards.

10. Jordan Howard, RB, Indiana
Jordan Howard is a transfer from UAB who showcased his talents rushing for 203 yards on 31 carries against Western Kentucky

8. Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Connor Cook still is not putting up flashy numbers, but as Michigan State rises to the #2 team in the country, his talent keeps him in the Heisman conversation

Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU
Trevone Boykin has come back with a vengeance with a 454 yards and 5 touchdown passing performance against SMU last week

5. Jared Goff, QB, Cal
Those following NFL Draft prospects are leeching on to Jared Goff as the best QB in the class and he has proved it on the field this season

Ole Miss Is For Real
All week the question was were Ole Miss Rebels a team to take seriously after cruising to two easy wins and piling up over 140 points

Georgia Found Their QB
Going into the week Georgia had Quarterback Greyson Lambert on a short leash

Alabama isn’t out the woods yet
Ole Miss Quarterback Chad Kelly took down a strong and highly touted Crimson Tide defense

Leonard Fournette For Heisman
LSU Sophomore running back Leonard Fournette is far and away the best player in the country and it only took two games.

The Offensive Woes Continue
The Hogs wanted to leave last week’s loss to Toledo behind them as they went through a philosophy change

SEC Week 3 Preview
Week 3 Preview for the SEC. College Football.

Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
Derrick Henry continues his roll through the early season for Alabama and puts himself at the top of the Heisman list for the second week in a row.

9. Jared Goff, QB, Cal
Jared Goff could be the top QB in the 2016 NFL Draft class and that will put you on the radar for the Heisman

Cody Kessler, QB, USC
USC looks like the real deal and Cody Kessler has started the season hot with 650 yards passing, 7 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions through the first two games

Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU
Trevone Boykin bounced back after a disappointing Week 1 with an electric Week 2 against Stephen F. Austin

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Ohio State struggled at home against Hawaii (and still won 38-0,) but Ezekiel Elliott looked tough at the goal line rushing for 3 touchdowns

10. Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
Josh Rosen came back to earth after a stunning Week 1, but he still put up 223 yards passing and threw for a touchdown

Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Florida State has not looked particularly sharp early in games and Dalvin Cook was left of my list during Week 1 due to playing Texas State.

Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Connor Cook pulled off some late heroics against the Oregon Ducks to beat the team that thwarted him last season

Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Leonard Fournette finally got his chance to shine for LSU’s first full game

Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
Georgia’s RB dominance continues with Nick Chubb who crushed Vanderbilt with about 10 yards a carry

4. Arizona – 2-0 (4)
Sophomores Anu Solomon and Nick Wilson, Arizona’s quarterback and running back respectively, continue to lead the Wildcats downfield

12. Oregon State – 1-1 (Last week: 9)
Where quarterback Seth Collins and head coach Gary Andersen succeeded a week ago, they failed at the Big House

2. UCLA – 2-0 (3)
Josh Rosen didn’t need to pass for over 200 yards in his second collegiate game, nor did the Bruins need to rush for 273 yards.

10. Washington State – 1-1 (12)
So the Cougars lose to an FCS school at home week one then go on the road against Rutgers, a Big Ten program, and win on a 10-play, 90-yard TD drive.

3. Oregon – 1-1 (2)
In their second game of the season, the Ducks were exposed

11. Colorado – 1-1 (11)
Colorado revealed a potential rushing attack against UMass, for what it’s worth

6. California – 2-0 (6)
Following a sluggish start, the Golden Bears came up with two interceptions while the offense turned 21 seconds into 14 points – an impressive accomplishment.

9. Arizona State – 1-1 (7)
The score doesn’t tell the story of this game. Entering the fourth quarter, ASU and Cal Poly were tied.

1. USC – 2-0 (1)
Cody Kessler can throw for three touchdowns on the same day the offense can produce five rushing touchdowns: it’s a good day for Trojans football.

5. Utah – 2-0 (5)
After allowing 14 second-quarter points, the Utes shutout Utah State in the second half. Devontae Booker led the Utah offense with 120 yards with a touchdow

8. Stanford – 1-1 (10)
Quarterback Kevin Hogan threw for three touchdowns and Stanford reached the end zone for the first time this season.

7. Washington – 1-1 (8)
After a positive loss last week, a shutout win against Sacramento State showed further signs of progress for Chris Petersen’s program.

Notre Dame: Week 2 Review and Preview
Losing starting quarterback Malik Zaire for the remainder of the season after breaking his ankle during Notre Dame’s 34-27 win over Virginia is not exactly how Brian Kelly planned his season would go.

Dalvin Cook's Big Day
Dalvin Cook had a huge day today against the South Florida Bulls

Kendall Fuller, Virginia Tech
The younger Fuller has great bloodlines, with 3 brothers who have played in the NFL

Top Ranked DBs
The Atlantic Coast Conference boost some of the top ranked defensive backs that are eligible for the NFL draft this offseason

Jalen Ramsey, Florida State
Jalen has decent size for defensive back, listed at 6’1 202 pounds on the schools website

2. Oregon (1-0)
It scored 61 points on 731 offensive yards, including 485 yards rushing

6. California (1-0)
It’s an FCS opponent, but still, the Golden Bears held a collegiate football team to 14 points

7. Arizona State (0-1)
Arizona State traveled NRG Stadium, the home of the Houston Texans, ranked No. 15 in the nation

10. Stanford (0-1)
It was really, really bad – the worst loss in the David Shaw era

9. Oregon State (1-0)
College Football.

1. USC (1-0)
If there were two ways the Trojans could improve from their opening game, it’d be to slow down the opposing offense quicker and protect Cody Kessler.

11. Colorado
One minute you think Colorado can put the program’s foot in the right direction

5. Utah (1-0)
It was, perhaps, the best Pac-12 performance of the week

3. UCLA (1-0)
Josh Rosen is on the mind of UCLA fans after his debut performance

8. Washington (0-1)
This game is about winning, no doubt about it. But if there has ever been a positive loss, it may just be Washington’s road loss to No. 23 Boise State

4. Arizona (1-0)
Offensively, the Wildcats were fluid

12. Washington State
It was the Cougars’ first loss to an FCS school in 20 matchups, and it was Portland State’s first Pac-12 win in 15 outings

10. Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State
Cardale Jones got the starting nod for the Buckeyes and though he was inconsistent, he flashed some incredible moments throughout the game

8. Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi Satte
Prescott is one of the early favorites for the Heisman and though he had a solid Week 1, he was overshadowed by some other performances

3. Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU
Trevone Boykin didn’t have a great opening game for TCU, but he is still the most dynamic QB in college football

6. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
The only defender on the list, Myles Garrett proved that his freshman year was not a flash in the pan

1. Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
Alabama seems to have someone in Heisman contention every year and this year is no different with stud RB Derrick Henry

2. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Ohio State had a bit of a scare being down at half time to Virginia Tech, and part of the reason was that they weren’t running Ezekiel Elliott enough

4. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
Nick Chubb is a dynamic RB on a Georgia team that is primed for a break out year

Malik Zaire, QB, Notre Dame
Any Notre Dame QB having a successful year will get Heisman buzz, and Malik Zaire has started off his year with a strong case to be among the top contenders in the country

5. Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
The best QB performance of week 1 was from UCLA freshman QB Josh Rosen who blasted a tough Virginia defense for 351 yards and 1 touchdown

9. Seth Russell, QB, Baylor
The Baylor offensive system definitely favors the QB and Seth Russell is taking full advantage early in his season

Javon Patterson, OL, Ole Miss
Patterson is a guy that coach Hugh Freeze has been raving about since the spring

Kyler Murray, QB, Texas A&M
Murray had to be if not the most, one of the most anticipated freshman to stop on the field for week 1

Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
Proving his worth very early with a electric 76 yard punt return early Kirk not only showed he can contribute on special teams.

Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama
It's rare to see a true freshman defensive back play his first year under Nick Saban, but Fitzpatrick earned the start at nickel back.

Jordan Scarlett, RB,
Gators were left with a pair of true freshmen in Scarlett and Jordan Cronkrite to back up Kelvin Taylor at running back

Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
We didn’t to see much of Lock, at least in the early parts of the game but Coach Gary Pinkel seems to want to know what he has in the youngster.

Week 1 SEC Freshmen
The 2015 Recruiting class was looked at by many including myself as one of the deepest and most talented classes in recent memory

James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh
James Connor is an old school, big bodied, battling ram running back, which is listed at 6’2 240

Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh
Listed at 6’2, 190 pounds, Boyd is the most complete receiver in the ACC

Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
Williams is a long, big-bodied receiver listed at 6’4 220. Has plus athleticism, and is a known deep threat on that tiger’s offense.

Other Prospects & Key Games
Other prospects and games to watch Week 1

Bucky Hodges, TE, Virginia Tech
Bucky can line up in the slot, flexed outside as a receiver, and lined up in the backfield as a H- back. Bucky is a match up nightmare.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, North Carolina State
Brissett is a Huge quarterback (listed at 6’4 231) with a big live arm.

ACC's Top Offensive Players
The Atlantic Coast Conference will have some of the top rated draft prospects this season. There are several players who have caught my eye.

Rivalries are one of the things that make college football worth watching every fall. Here are the longest rivalries in college football for every division.

Longest Winning Streak in a Rivalry Series - College Football's Longest Rivalry Winning Streaks
For more than four decades, Notre Dame owned Navy. The Irish and the Midshipmen play each other every year, and have done so for years. But between 1964 and 2006, it was awfully hard to call the series a “rivalry.” Besides, the Irish won every year during that span, setting the all-time record for most consecutive wins in an uninterrupted (annual) rivalry series.
