Restaurant Review: Acquista Trattoria
Acquista Trattoria in Fresh Meadows, Queens, is a great neighborhood restaurant. It serves Italian food — classic southern Italian dishes, pizzas, fish, and more. You will rub elbows with your neighbors in this small trattoria, but the service, taste, and inexpensive prices make this a perfect restaurant for a weekday evening.

Restaurant Review: Arunee Thai in Jackson Heights
Arunee Thai in Jackson Heights, serves the classic menu of a Thai eatery in America to a tee. The quality of the food and service combined with the affordable prices makes it a must for a casual weekday dinner or an introduction to Thai cuisine.

Restaurant Review: Bona Polish Restaurant in Ridgewood, NY
Bona Restaurant serves very good Polish food in Ridgewood, close to the Brooklyn border. A clean, unpretentious neighborhood joint, Bona caters to Polish immigrants who live in Ridgewood and nearby Glendale. The main courses are meat and potatoes, either fried or drenched with gravy. But this heaviness is balanced by tasty side salads, krauts, and pickles, and finally by light, fruit-filled dessert blintzes. The price is right at popular Bona, but unfortunately, service can be slow and confused.

Restaurant Review: Il Toscano, A Northern Italian Restaurant in Douglaston, New York
Family-run Il Toscano is one of the best restaurants in Queens, New York. You will pay handsomely for the stellar service and absolutely top quality food, but it is worth every penny. Restaurants Along the 7 Subway - Eat Your Way Through Queens via the 7 Subway
The number 7 train runs above some of the best restaurants in the great borough of Queens, on its way from Manhattan, through Long Island City, Jackson Heights, and Corona, past Shea Stadium, and into Flushing. Sure, the 7 is slow and crowded. But what's the sense in complaining when this subway line will bring you down Roosevelt Avenue to curries hot enough to cook themselves for prices you can't beat in Manhattan.
